La Maison bleue is a palace built in 1356 of the Hegira (1915). It is the ancestral home of the late Si Mohammed El Abbadi, prominent astrologer, famous judge and professor at Qaraouiyine‘s University. Abbadies from our time are from Andalousia and in the intellectual arm of Morocco, are still there. A rare librairy belonging to the late Si Mohammed, scientist and famous judge, will only remember the greatness and know that flourished in this house. A haven of peace, this house is located in the heart of the Medina of Fez, a jewel of the Arab world.

La Maison Bleue was built as a family palace in 1915 by Sidi Mohammed El Abbadi, a famous judge and astrologer of the times. Its location near Bab Boujloud provides you easy walking access to all the monuments of Fès el Jedid and Fès el Bali Medina. You will find the house a haven of peace in the heart of the bustling Medina. At La Maison Bleue you are, first and foremost, the house guests of a prominent Fassi family. On the 1st and 2nd floors are five deluxe and one single room each with ensuite bathroom, telephone, television, internet access,air conditioning, minibar and safe. The library with its oil paintings, beautifully bound books and letters written in perfect calligraphy will keep you spellbound for hours .
Once you have crossed the threshold, a long corridor leads to a courtyard surrounded by three Moroccan salons. On the first and second floors our deluxe rooms are filled with authentic Moroccan antiquities creating a palatial space for you to relax.
Each suite comes equipped with en suite bathroom, telephone, television, internet access, air conditioning, mini-bar, iPod dock and safe.
Guests also have access to a unique library, which belonged to the late head of the family. Full of oil paintings, beautifully bound books and letters written in perfect calligraphy, browsing here will give you a glimpse into the knowledge of the past.
